The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of post-operative lymphatic massage techniques and be committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care during the recovery journey. This is a contracted position for a busy travel spa. Contractors will be as needed, availability for sameday appointments.
Responsibilities:
Perform lymphatic drainage massages on clients recovering from cosmetic surgery procedures (e.g., liposuction, BBL, tummy tuck, etc.) Provide post-op care tailored to individual client needs, including monitoring swelling, bruising, and scar management Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress Travel to clients across Miami-Dade County , especially near surgical centers and Miami International Airport Broward county Maintain high hygiene standards and follow health & safety protocols
Requirements:
Valid certification/license in Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapy Experience with post-operative massage techniques (1+ year preferred) Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Miami-Dade County and Broward Strong communication skills and professional bedside manner Fluent English 1st language Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and various massage techniques, such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage surgical and non surgical. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient service while assessing individual needs and developing tailored treatment plans to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide Manual Lymphatic Massage and Manual Drainage Lymphatic Massage Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Document treatment plans and progress notes accurately in patient records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care techniques for post op care . Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention. Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Proficient in various massage techniques, including pain management,swelling,Drainage strategies. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Last minute appointments Strong communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
