Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct patient assessments to identify areas of tension, pain, or injury, and develop customized treatment plans accordingly. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health considerations, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that adheres to health regulations and industry standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge base. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practice. Prior experience working in a medical spa or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with pain management techniques and occupational health considerations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a professional manner. Prior exposure to med spa environments or similar wellness facilities will be advantageous for success in this role.
