Responsibilities Perform customized massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address client-specific concerns. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual physiology and health history. Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend ongoing wellness practices to support pain management and occupational health. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment details, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and professional standards at all times. Collaborate with other healthcare or wellness professionals as needed to optimize patient outcomes. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications related to massage therapy and medical spa services. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans. Experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate clients about their health needs clearly and professionally.
