Massage Therapist

Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual conditions and goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions. Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term wellness benefits. Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with health regulations. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client concerns with professionalism. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to optimize treatment plans and improve patient outcomes. Requirements Proven experience in patient service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and care. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for pain management. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment strategies. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and fostering positive client relationships. Certification or licensing as required by state law for practicing massage therapy.
