Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatments accordingly. Educate clients on post-treatment care, self-care strategies, and wellness practices to support ongoing health goals. Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting procedures, client responses, and progress notes with accuracy. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex conditions. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs and customize treatments accordingly. Expertise in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for targeted pain relief. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Ability to educate clients on wellness strategies and occupational health considerations. Previous experience working in a med spa or similar environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and maintaining professional standards at all times.
