Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of discomfort. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current issues, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness or injury management. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant medical terminology. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management strategies tailored to individual needs. Ensure all treatments adhere to safety standards, hygiene protocols, and licensing regulations. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and comfort. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans. Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa procedures is a plus. Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment benefits and address client concerns.
