Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, and will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient service in a med spa environment. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality massage therapy to promote relaxation and pain management. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Develop customized treatment plans based on patient assessments and preferences. Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Maintain a clean and organized treatment space, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices for optimal results. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support patient care. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of human physiology, medical terminology, and pain management techniques. Experience in patient assessment and understanding of occupational health principles is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction. Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding their needs and treatment options. Previous experience in a med spa setting is a plus but not required. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new techniques in the field of massage therapy.
