Red Earth Massage & Wellness is a boutique massage studio located in Waikiki, dedicated to providing high-quality therapeutic bodywork. We focus on personalized care, integrating a range of massage techniques to support each client's overall well-being. We operate from two locations that are just one block apart, and therapists may be scheduled to see clients at either location.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed, skilled, and reliable part-time, on-call Massage Therapist to join our team. This role is ideal for therapists seeking flexibility, with shifts primarily scheduled during afternoon and evening hours. Total hours may vary, up to approximately 15 hours per week.

Preferred Availability:

Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings Potential availability for weekend evening shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional, customized therapeutic massage services based on each client's needs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment space Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service Manage client check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments when applicable Remain available for on-call scheduling and communicate availability clearly Be willing to work between both studio locations as scheduled Collaborate effectively with other therapists during couples or simultaneous appointments

Qualifications:

Active Hawaii State Massage Therapy License (LMT) required Proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue, thai, prenatal and other therapeutic modalities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must work well in a team environment, especially during couples sessions Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to clinic flow and systems Able to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Professional, reliable, and punctual Availability for afternoon and evening shifts

Compensation & Employment Structure:

$45 per hour (commission-based), plus tips Split payment structure: W-2 employee compensation for insurance-based clients and gift card redemptions 1099 independent contractor compensation for general clientele Flexible scheduling Supportive and wellness-focused work environment
