Independent Contractor Massage Therapist

Job Summary Elite Health + Performance is seeking a skilled and motivated Independent Contractor Massage Therapist to join our sports performance and wellness team. Our clinic focuses on bridging the gap between recovery and performance, and we are looking for a massage therapist who shares our passion for helping athletes, active adults, and motivated individuals reach their highest potential. The ideal candidate has experience with sports massage, deep tissue, and recovery-focused techniques, and is comfortable working in a collaborative, performance-minded environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough client assessments to identify individual needs and treatment goals. Provide therapeutic massage services including deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy. Create treatment plans tailored to athletes and active clients, focusing on recovery, performance, and injury prevention. Educate clients on self-care, stretching, and recovery techniques. Maintain accurate treatment notes and uphold clinic standards of care. Collaborate with chiropractors, physical therapists, and athletic trainers to ensure integrated care. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming treatment environment. Qualifications & Experience Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Iowa, in good standing. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and sports recovery principles. Experience with deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy required. Familiarity with working in athletic, rehab, or performance-based settings preferred. Ability to manage an independent caseload as a contractor.
