You want to work a shift next Monday and Friday? Sunday afternoon shift? Done! Just let us know WHEN youre available to commit to a 6 hr shift! DUTIES Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of tension or discomfort. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health considerations, and pain management strategies to enhance their wellness journey. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment details, patient responses, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to patient requirements. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols at all times. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and certifications related to med spa services and physiologic health. Skills Excellent patient service skills with a warm, empathetic approach that fosters trust and comfort. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments to customize treatments effectively. Experience in customer service within a med spa or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Understanding of occupational health principles to support clients' overall well-being. Prior experience in med spa environments or similar settings enhances your ability to deliver specialized care.
