The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional and engaging wellness therapies and massage treatments to our clients. Sedona's Day Spa & Float Tanks was currently awarded "Best Massage" in Des Moines by City View. We are entering our fourth year of business. Sedona's Day Spa & Float Tanks offers a large menu of items from massages, Facials, HydroFacials, salt water deprivation tanks, Japanese Head Spa services, and so much more! We are looking for an individual trained in deep tissue work particularly to join our team, however, this does not limit the candidates we would love to consider. At Sedona's we have a very consistent and loyal client base who have been with us all four years of business and who are looking for a therapist to call theirs. We are currently seeking to fill this space as the demand for massage is increasing and our therapist is no longer accepting new clients. Sedona's Day Spa & Float Tanks is a wonderful place to build your client base as our clients are repeat customers who seek consistent treatments. Starting pay begins at $25 but experience, modality, and availability can alter this starting point. Responsibilities
- Perform massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols
- Assist with laundry
- Social media advertising
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate massage techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of the massage rooms and equipment
- Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Educate clients on the benefits of massages as part of their overall wellness program
- Rebooking clients for future services
- Building client base Requirements
- Certification or license as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in various massage modalities
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care
- Ability to assess client needs and provide appropriate treatments
- Deep tissue, hot stone, sports, or Thai massage is a plus
- Ability to work some weekends
- Ability to work evenings
- Reliable transportation
