Position Summary:
Provides therapeutic massage to OBGYN/Maternity hospital patients, with a primary focus on postpartum mothers for pain management, while also supporting antepartum and laboring mothers. Communicates effectively with clients, their families, and other relevant parties as needed. Maintains accurate documentation of therapies provided and the client's response to treatment. Actively participates in maternity morning huddles with nursing staff.
Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program, with a minimum of 350 hours of instruction. City licensure is required. Current certification as a therapeutic massage practitioner is preferred.
Essential Functions:

Plans and manages massage therapy sessions tailored to the client's medical condition, needs, or preferences. Creates a therapeutic environment that promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and healing. Skilled in a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, Shiatsu, and Amma.
