Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of pain or tension Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring comfort throughout each session Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive pain management strategies Uphold all safety protocols, hygiene standards, and licensing regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally Proven experience in medical spa settings or occupational health environments preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Skilled in patient service, assessment, and customizing treatments based on individual needs Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques essential Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain client trust Ability to work effectively within a team while managing multiple appointments efficiently If you are passionate about helping others achieve optimal health through expert massage therapy, we invite you to bring your energy and expertise to our team. Together, we can create an environment where wellness thrives! W-2 Position, $22/hr guaranteed base, up to 40-50% commission, plus tips. Do not have to sit around if you don't have appointments. Some evening and weekends availability required.
