Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and pain points Conduct patient assessments to understand individual needs, health history, and treatment goals Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each client Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain their wellness outside of sessions Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic policies Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical personnel when necessary for comprehensive patient care Experience Proven experience in providing various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong background in patient service with excellent communication skills to assess needs effectively and explain treatment options clearly Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to manage pain management strategies through therapeutic massage methods Familiarity with customer service principles to ensure a positive client experience and foster long-term relationships Previous exposure to medical or healthcare environments enhances understanding of clinical protocols and safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your touch can transform lives!
