Job Description

Pulling Down the Moon is seeking a talented, compassionate, and highly skilled Massage Therapist with a passion for women's health to join our holistic fertility center in downtown Highland Park. Employment with Pulling Down the Moon includes comprehensive training in reproductive health and fertility care, encompassing both natural and medical approaches, as well as our award-winning Fertility Enhancing Massage (FEM) Protocol . Therapists receive direct training from FEM founder Meredith Nathan , recipient of the
NCBTMB 2018
Pioneer Award . This specialized training is valued at 35 CEUs and $2,000. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for women's health and fertility, and a desire to support individuals and couples on their journey toward building a family. Experience working with fertility, prenatal, or women's health populations is preferred, though not required.
Qualifications:
Current massage therapy license in Illinois Prenatal massage certification (required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, professional, and client-centered approach to care Strong desire to learn new, copyrighted massage protocol
Schedule:
Part-time position 1-2 shifts per week Sunday availability required Join a team that has helped thousands of individuals and couples navigate their fertility journey through an integrated approach to wellness, education, and care. This massage therapist will join our team of expert clinicians that also include acupuncturists, nutrition experts, yoga teachers, administrative workers and community members who work together to create a place where massage therapists can focus on doing what they love while leaving the "business" to us. Pulling Down the Moon is a full-service, multi-disciplinary clinic specializing in women's health, fertility and the emotional needs of our patients. While we are known for being experts in fertility and women's health, we treat all kinds of different issues from pregnancy to pain and men too!
