Responsibilities Perform customized massage therapies including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend ongoing wellness strategies for pain management and relaxation Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting techniques used and client responses for future reference Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment adhering to all health and safety standards Collaborate with team members to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service, including patient assessment and customized treatment planning Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse clients Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while maintaining professionalism at all times
