Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

• Job Summary
• We are seeking a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services to clients, focusing on pain management and overall wellness.
• Compensation Details
• Our therapists are paid per job (piecework) at the following rate (subject to change). This rate is based on a 60/40 (MT/employer) split of the charged amount. 30 min Massage

• $45.00 90 min Massage
• $60.

Gratuity for massage therapists will not be accepted or accounted for by Ottawa Chiropractic. Any gratuity should be arranged directly between the client and the therapist at the client's discretion.

• Job Requirements

• License:

  Must hold a current massage therapy license in the state of Illinois.

• Malpractice Insurance:

  Must maintain an active malpractice insurance policy.

• Availability:

  Monday
• Friday mornings and early afternoons (8am-3pm)

• Collaboration:

  Must be willing to share workspace with another massage therapist respectfully.
• Responsibilities
• Perform various types of massages, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques
• Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
• Must maintain appropriate client visit record (SOAP notes).
• Provide outstanding client service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Skills
• Proficiency in massage therapy techniques as it relates to pain management and wellness
• Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy
• Experience in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
