Job Overview Katie's SPA treatment massage is a busy and established massage spa In Dyer Indaiana. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and client preferences in compliance with privacy standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation and occupational health protocols Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and service quality Requirements Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately Familiarity with pain management techniques and holistic approaches to wellness Prior experience working in a med spa or similar setting is preferred Certification or licensing as required by state or local regulations for massage therapy practitioners Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and team members in a professional manner Join us in delivering outstanding care that transforms lives!
