Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist / Rehabilitation Assistant, where you will play a vital role in enhancing patient well-being through expert massage therapy and rehabilitation support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment dedicated to pain relief, injury recovery, and overall health improvement. You will work closely with clients to deliver tailored treatments that promote healing, relaxation, and improved mobility, all while fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Responsibilities Perform therapeutic massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and muscle tension. Assist in patient rehabilitation techniques such as shockwave therapy and electrical stimulation application. Assist in rehabilitation programs by supporting patients through exercises and mobility strategies aligned with their recovery goals. Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, and pain management strategies to empower their ongoing health journey. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and medical terminology for accurate record-keeping. Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment by adhering to occupational health standards and clinic protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and fostering positive relationships that encourage continued care. Experience Valid license as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice in your region. Proven experience in medical spa, chiropractic office, or rehabilitation clinics. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and injury recovery. Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Familiarity with patient assessment procedures and developing individualized treatment plans. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Prior exposure to occupational health environments or medical settings is advantageous. $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
