Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans that target specific pain points or areas of tension. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments aligned with each client's condition. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and wellness strategies to support ongoing health goals. Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy standards. Collaborate with other health professionals or medical staff when necessary to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Uphold the highest standards of customer service by creating a welcoming environment that fosters trust and relaxation. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in medical spa settings or occupational health environments preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in patient service, assessment, and pain management techniques tailored to individual needs. Ability to perform deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities effectively. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and client education.
