Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each client's needs. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain accurate records of treatments, client progress, and health history in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in patient assessment and understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced therapeutic techniques. Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health principles. Prior experience working in a med spa or wellness center is preferred. Ability to build rapport with clients while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
