Massage / Stretch Therapist

Massage + Stretch Therapy Specialist Arpella Physical Therapy & Performance is looking for an energetic, movement-minded specialist to join our growing team in a unique role that blends massage therapy, recovery work, mobility, and assisted stretching techniques. We are not a traditional physical therapy clinic and we are definitely not a spa environment. Arpella is an outside-of-the-box PT and performance company focused on helping youth, active adults, athletes, and everyday humans move better, recover faster, prevent injuries, and continue doing the things they love at a high level. Our approach blends rehabilitation, wellness, movement optimization, recovery, and performance into one collaborative environment. We are looking for a skilled "new-age" massage therapist / recovery specialist who understands that modern manual therapy is more than relaxation alone. The ideal candidate is passionate about combining hands-on soft tissue work with hands-on stretching, mobility techniques, and recovery strategies. Responsibilities:

Perform massage therapy and soft tissue treatments Incorporate assisted stretching and mobility-based techniques Customize sessions based on client goals and movement needs Help clients improve recovery, flexibility, mobility, and overall performance Collaborate with physical therapists regarding patient/client goals Educate clients on recovery and preventative wellness strategies Build long-term relationships with clients through exceptional care and communication

Preferred Skills:

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Maryland Sports massage experience Stretch therapy or assisted stretching experience Myofascial release techniques Background in athletics, fitness, wellness, or performance training is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

Performance-based split model with strong earning potential Expected compensation range: $30-$65/hour depending on experience, specialty skills, scheduling availability, and ability to build and retain a client caseload.
