Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized massage plans Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address specific concerns Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting patient progress and treatment plans accurately Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive pain management strategies Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout each session Skills Proven experience in patient service with a focus on personalized care and comfort Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Ability to perform thorough patient assessments to identify specific needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare providers Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace injury recovery and prevention Prior med spa experience is preferred for delivering advanced therapeutic treatments in a wellness-focused setting
