Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Massage Therapist to join our private medical practice. In this role, you will see patients and clients of various age ranges with various medical conditions in a physical therapy setting. We like a holistic approach. We are looking for someone with versatile skills and techniques, knowledge of anatomy, and assessment skills. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatments accordingly Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health issues Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes using medical terminology and physiology knowledge Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and fostering a positive client experience Stay updated on the latest advancements in massage therapy techniques and industry best practices Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong background in patient service, anatomy, and assessment Hands-on expertise in various massage techniques and pain management techniques Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients about their treatment plans Familiarity with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and maintaining detailed treatment documentation
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
