Licensed Massage Therapist

At Atlas Naturopathic Health Center in Rockport, ME, we are dedicated to providing personalized, holistic care to our patients. We are looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our practice and enhance the wellness services we offer.

Position Overview:

As our Licensed Massage Therapist, you will work with our team to provide holistic care that aligns with our clinic's mission. Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to patients, including deep tissue, Swedish, and other modalities as appropriate. Collaborate with the naturopathic doctors to customize treatment plans that support each patient's wellness goals. Create a calming, therapeutic environment for each patient session. Maintain accurate patient records, including session notes and treatment updates. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout treatments. Assist in educating patients about the benefits of massage therapy as part of a holistic health plan. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the massage therapy room and equipment. Ensure that all clients have a positive, relaxing experience and leave feeling restored.

Qualifications:

Valid and active LMT license in the state of Maine. Previous experience providing therapeutic massage, ideally in a clinical or wellness-focused setting. Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with patients. Ability to work well independently as well as within a collaborative team. A genuine interest in holistic health and naturopathic medicine is a plus.
