Job Overview We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our professional team, as an employee, in providing exceptional therapeutic and relaxation services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, ensuring safe and effective treatments tailored to each client's needs. This role offers an opportunity to deliver personalized care in a welcoming environment, helping clients manage pain and improve overall wellness through expert massage techniques. Harbor Health & Massage has been open for over 23 years with a large client base waiting for you! Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques to address client-specific concerns. Conduct thorough body assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety. Provide pain management solutions by applying knowledge of physiology and body mechanics. Maintain detailed documentation of sessions and client progress. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend future therapy sessions or wellness practices. Uphold high standards of client service and customer care, ensuring a relaxing and professional experience for every client. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocols and workplace safety guidelines. Skills Proven expertise in patient assessment, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and comfort. Ability to evaluate client needs accurately and tailor treatments accordingly. Effective communication skills to educate clients about their treatment plans and wellness strategies. Commitment to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to licensing standards.
