That might mean a lighter touch because you understand what the nervous system needs in that moment. It might mean working slowly into deeper tissue because you know how fascia responds to sustained pressure. The technique matters less than the thinking behind it — and we're looking for a therapist who has developed that thinking, or is actively building it. You don't need advanced certifications. You need curiosity, a solid foundation, and genuine interest in how the body works — not just as a collection of muscles, but as a system. What Your Days Look Like Therapeutic massage sessions with clients who are invested in their health and returning regularly A consistent, predictable schedule that grows with the studio — this is a long-term role, not a fill-in position Clients presenting with chronic tension, stress patterns, movement recovery needs, and general wellness goals Collaboration with a clinical team including Pilates instructors, a Physical Therapist, and a Rolfer A beautiful, private treatment room in a restored 1890 Victorian building in downtown

Hold a Michigan LMT license Have a working understanding of anatomy and human physiology — and actually find it interesting Have encountered concepts like nervous system regulation, polyvagal theory, or somatic awareness and want to understand them more deeply Are looking for consistent, stable work — not a side gig or flexible fill-in hours Are the kind of person who thinks about their sessions after they're done and wants to keep getting better About the Studio Wise Body Solutions is an integrated clinical movement studio built around one idea: that the body functions as a system, and care should too.
