Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in massage techniques, patient assessment, and pain management strategies. This role offers an opportunity to provide therapeutic treatments that enhance our clients' health, relaxation, and overall wellness in a supportive environment. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver safe and effective therapies. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend future treatment options for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the center to optimize patient outcomes. Skills Extensive experience in patient service with a focus on therapeutic massage modalities. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Knowledge of occupational health principles related to workplace wellness programs. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable. Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop customized treatment plans effectively.
