  • Part-time Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor Massage Therapist, where you will deliver exceptional therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
This role offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to manage your schedule while providing expert care to a diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and deep understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals in a professional, welcoming environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of pain or tension Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing pain management or occupational health concerns Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with industry standards Provide outstanding customer service by creating a relaxing environment and addressing client questions or concerns with professionalism Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation protocols and licensing requirements Experience Proven experience as a massage therapist with a strong background in patient service and assessment Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities for pain relief Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Prior work in med spas or healthcare settings is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace wellness initiatives Certification from a recognized massage therapy program and valid licensing as required by local regulations
