Job Description

Overview Made 2 Move Chiropractic & Wellness, a modern wellness clinic established 8 years ago, seeks licensed massage therapists to meet high patient demand. Our established therapeutic massage therapist is relocating after 6 years with our practice, and we are looking to fill her busy schedule with the right long-term fit. This is a unique opportunity to step into an established patient base within a busy, wellness clinic. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and patient-centered therapeutic massage therapist who enjoys working collaboratively alongside chiropractors in a wellness-focused environment.
Sign On Bonus Available:
$1500 Responsibilities Perform therapeutic massages of soft tissues and joints to provide pain relief and promote relaxation Assess clients' medical histories and conditions to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to target specific areas of concern Utilize various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors, to develop comprehensive treatment plans Experience Valid state license or maintains certification with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), has passed the MBLEx examination given by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards, is a member in good standing in the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), or is a member in good standing in the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively explain treatment plans to clients Ability to adapt techniques based on client preferences and needs Professional demeanor with a compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
Pay:
$40.00 per hour

1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
NCBTMB, AMTA, ABMP
cert. and /or passed the MBLEx exam (Required)
