Hopkins Health and Wellness Center is a multi-specialty, collaborative care clinic, including medical services, chiropractic, physical therapy and massage. We are seeking candidates with excellent customer service skills as well as providing great bodywork. Specifically, we are looking for MT's skilled in deep tissue massage, sports and swedish massage, and someone with a solid understanding of anatomy. We are open Monday through Saturday. We would prefer someone who can work our Saturday shift (8 - noon) currently. Reimbursement of these massages is paid at a negotiated percentage of the fee, typically $30 - $40 per hour. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation methods to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans based on medical history and specific concerns. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively target areas of tension or discomfort. Maintain accurate notes of client sessions, including treatment SOAP notes and progress reports. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and informed throughout their experience. Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to the field and apply it in practice when necessary. Assist with laundry throughout the day to ensure that you and your fellow MT's have all supplies necessary to perform your duties. Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Experience Certificate or License of completion from an accredited massage therapy program. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences. Familiarity with various massage modalities, including but not limited to deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
