As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them manage pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. This role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to assess individual needs to tailor treatments effectively. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue, pain management techniques, and relaxation methods. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to enhance patient care. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Skills Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients. In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices. Proficient in patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs and conditions. Familiarity with occupational health practices and pain management strategies. Experience in providing deep tissue massage and other specialized techniques. Understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy and patient care.
