We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our team. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and facility policies Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance service quality. Check clients in and out using the clinic's POS (Point of Sale) system, including processing payments and scheduling appointments Experience Valid City of Rochester licensure as a Massage Therapist (LMT) with active certification Must possess and maintain active professional liability insurance. Proven experience in providing patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and comfort Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment plans clearly Experience using a clinic POS (Point of Sale) system for client check-in/check-out, payment processing, and appointment scheduling. Familiarity with patient assessment procedures and the ability to tailor treatments accordingly Competitive compensation based on experience, ranging from $42-$52 per hour; rates shown include gratuity.
