In this role, you will deliver personalized massage treatments that address individual needs, utilizing your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand client concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and tension Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally Proven experience in patient service with strong skills in patient assessment and communication Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients Knowledge of health and safety standards necessary for maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to improving clients' quality of life.
