Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that adheres to all health and safety regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate care when necessary Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance skills Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in good standing Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and pain management strategies Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and physiology knowledge Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and occupational health principles Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed Join us if you're eager to bring your healing touch to those seeking relief and relaxation!
