About the
Role:
As a Massage Therapy Independent Contractor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of Members through therapeutic massage techniques. Your primary objective will be to provide high-quality massage services tailored to individual client needs, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall health. You will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment that encourages clients to communicate their preferences and concerns. This position requires a strong commitment to professionalism and ethical practice, ensuring that all treatments are performed with the utmost care and respect. Ultimately, your work will contribute to the physical and mental wellness of Members, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business. The pay is a generous 70% commission, plus 100% of gratuity.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Completion of an accredited massage therapy program. Current general liability insurance coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a variety of massage techniques and modalities. Previous experience as an independent contractor or in a self-employed capacity.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health history to determine appropriate massage techniques. Administer various types of massage therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, based on client preferences. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized and ready for use. Document client sessions and progress, providing feedback and recommendations for ongoing care. Market your services to attract new clients and maintain a steady flow of business. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
