Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual conditions Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support pain management and physiologic health goals Ensure a safe, clean, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and facility policies Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive client experience Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage and Bodywork Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in patient service, assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to explain treatment benefits clearly and professionally Familiarity with pain management techniques and holistic approaches to health care Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the massage therapy field Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a meaningful difference!
