Independent Contractor Massage Therapist

Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client concerns Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with professional standards Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and clinic policies Collaborate with clients to customize treatments that align with their needs, preferences, and medical histories Experience Proven experience as a massage therapist with specialization in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy preferred Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology necessary for accurate patient assessment and treatment planning Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build trusting relationships with clients Familiarity with pain management techniques and holistic approaches to wellness Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and adherence to licensing requirements Certification or licensing as a massage therapist in accordance with state regulations is required Join us in delivering transformative care that enhances lives!
