Job Description

About the Role We are a dedicated body tempering studio looking for a skilled and passionate Part-Time Body Tempering Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will deliver professional body tempering sessions that help clients improve mobility, reduce muscle soreness, enhance recovery, and optimize performance. If you are experienced in body tempering—or eager to get certified and grow with us—we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Perform body tempering sessions using weighted cylinders and tools to release muscle tension and improve tissue quality Conduct brief client intake assessments to understand goals, history, and areas of focus Customize sessions based on individual client needs and feedback Educate clients on the benefits of body tempering and proper recovery practices Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming treatment environment Track client progress and maintain accurate session notes Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction Support scheduling, rebooking, and general studio operations as needed Qualifications & Requirements Required Experience in a hands-on wellness, fitness, or recovery modality (massage therapy, personal training, chiropractic assisting, physical therapy aide, or similar) Willingness to obtain official Body Tempering certification if not already certified (we will support this process) Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Ability to perform physically demanding work, including the use of weighted tempering tools Preferred Current Body Tempering certification through an accredited program Background in sports performance, athletic training, or physical rehabilitation Experience working with athletes, active adults, or rehabilitation clients Knowledge of human anatomy, muscle function, and recovery science What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Support and sponsorship for Body Tempering certification Flexible scheduling with the potential to grow into a full-time role A collaborative, wellness-focused team environment Opportunity to build a loyal client base in a growing field How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your experience in hands-on wellness or recovery modalities and why you are interested in body tempering. Pay:
