Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs. Conduct patient assessments to understand specific concerns, medical history, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that adheres to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff as needed to support comprehensive patient care. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans. Exceptional customer service skills that foster trust and client satisfaction.
