Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist, where your expertise will elevate patient well-being through personalized massage therapy sessions. You will deliver a variety of therapeutic techniques designed to promote relaxation, reduce pain, and improve overall health. Duties Perform customized massage therapies including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual patient needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness and communicate clearly with clients. Educate patients on pain management techniques and occupational health practices to support their ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards. Ensure a welcoming, professional environment by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries promptly. Stay current with industry best practices and spa or med spa protocols to continually improve service quality. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and treatment customization. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients.
