Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide high-quality massage services including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively for each client. Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient progress while adhering to medical terminology standards. Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with other health professionals in occupational health settings or med spa environments as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and continuously enhance skills through professional development. Requirements Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in patient service with a focus on assessment and individualized care plans. Proficiency in various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service. Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules while maintaining professionalism at all times.
