Job Description

At Body In Mind Massage Institute, we're dedicated to providing exceptional education to aspiring massage therapists. We believe that each student deserves a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience in a supportive and dynamic environment. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Massage Therapy Instructor to join our team at Body In Mind Massage Institute. As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating and inspiring students to achieve their fullest potential in the field of massage therapy. This is a part-time position, offering flexible hours and a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Massage Therapy Techniques:
Instruct students in a variety of massage modalities, including but not limited to Deep Tissue, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Myofascial Release (MFR), Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, and Oncology Massage.
Curriculum Delivery:
Utilize curriculum and develop lesson plans that align with state licensure requirements and school standards.
Provide Hands-On Guidance:
Supervise and mentor students as they practice massage techniques, ensuring proper form, safety, and effectiveness.
Evaluate Student Performance:
Assess students' skills and progress, offering constructive feedback to foster their growth. Promote a
Positive Learning Environment:
Create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged and empowered to ask questions and learn.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the state of New Jersey. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing massage therapist. Strong knowledge and experience in a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish Deep Tissue, MLD, MFR, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, etc. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
