We are looking for coverage during a maternity leave beginning July 10, 2026, through approximately February 8, 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. Our clinic provides chiropractic care, physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, functional medicine, and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and comfortable working as part of an integrated healthcare team. Important Position Information This is a medical massage position within a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic and is not a spa environment. Therapists should be comfortable treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain conditions, motor vehicle accident injuries, and rehabilitation-related conditions. Massage appointments are typically scheduled in 15-minute increments and may focus on one or more body regions as directed by the treating doctor based on medical necessity and the patient's treatment plan. Responsibilities Perform medical and therapeutic massage treatments as prescribed or recommended by the treating chiropractor and/or healthcare provider. Provide focused treatment of specific body regions based on the patient's diagnosis, examination findings, and treatment plan. Demonstrate knowledge and application of trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue techniques, sports massage, and other therapeutic massage modalities. Understand musculoskeletal anatomy and common orthopedic conditions affecting the cervical spine, lumbar spine, shoulders, hips, and extremities. Work closely with chiropractors, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers as part of an integrated treatment team. Document treatment sessions accurately and professionally in the patient's medical record. Educate patients regarding stretching, posture, home care, and wellness recommendations. Maintain treatment rooms, linens, and equipment in a clean and professional manner. Assist with general clinic closing procedures, including removing trash and maintaining cleanliness of treatment areas at the end of the shift. Provide exceptional patient care and customer service. Qualifications Active New Jersey Massage Therapy License Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, wellness, or medical setting preferred Knowledge of deep tissue, therapeutic, myofascial release, sports massage, and trigger point therapy preferred Reliable and punctual Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Flexible scheduling Established patient base Professional and supportive work environment Potential long-term employment opportunity Schedule Part-time or Full-time available Evening and weekend availability is a plus Coverage needed from July 2026 through February 2027 About Us Back To Health Chiropractic & Wellness Care, PC is a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic serving Wayne and the surrounding communities.
