Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy practices. Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health considerations, and self-care routines post-treatment. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including patient progress and treatment outcomes. Ensure a clean, comfortable treatment environment adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to optimize patient care. Experience Proven experience in providing massage therapy with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction. Familiarity with advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management modalities. Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for conducting patient assessments and explaining treatment benefits clearly. Ability to adapt treatments based on individual client needs and feedback.
