Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Must be eligible to work in the US and in NY State you can choose if you want to be payed as an employee or IC Garden City Prenatal Massage is hiring a professional and goal oriented, NYS Licenced Massage Therapist. I am looking for a LMT who is passionate about Pre and Postnatal massage care

MUST BE CERTIFIED IN PRENATAL

MASSAGE or have full knowledge or Prenatal and Postpartum. They will perform 60, 75 and 90 minutes pre and postnatal massage sessions customized to each client. We do see some non Natal clients Swedish and deep tissue but 90% are prenatal sessions. You can choose 2 or 3 days Tuesday 10-3pm Saturday 8:30am-1:00pm Saturday 1pm-8pm Sunday 9:00am-2pm Applicant must be positive, friendly, responsible and have excellent knowledge in Pre and Postnatal massage. You have to have Knowledge using Massagebooks software of be willing to learn to use it as you are responsible for checking out clients and rebooking.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy School Valid, current NYS Massage License 1-2+ years of professional massage therapy experience (will consider a talented recent graduate) Current Professional Liability Insurance Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities Must be punctual Must have a polished and professional appearance Must have a positive, can-do attitude MUST be certified in Prenatal massage

Preferred Skills:

Completion of additional education/training in Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage or interest in completing additional training? Additional training in neuromuscular, sports, trigger point, injury assessment, cupping, myofascial therapies, a plus.
