Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop tailored treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and therapy outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills. Requirements Valid New York state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active registration Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and communication. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Familiarity with occupational health principles and best practices for workplace wellness programs.
