In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse was client base. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help create a calming and healing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' health while working in a supportive, professional setting committed to excellence. Responsibilities Perform customized massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of tension or discomfort Educate clients on self-care practices, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, including client progress and treatment outcomes Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient care and recovery Stay current with industry trends, new therapies, and continuing education requirements to enhance skills and service quality. Be willing to learn and grow. Willing to do outreach and travel for massage and advertising events. Requirements Valid NYS license as a Massage Therapist with active certification in good standing Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and communication Expertise in deep tissue massage, swedish massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practice Prior experience working in a professional massage therapy setting is preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education courses New graduates welcome.
