Position Summary The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide professional therapeutic massage treatments and bodywork services in a boutique luxury spa environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills, punctual professionalism, and an elevated service mindset appropriate for a high-end clientele seeking relaxation, recovery, and holistic wellness. Key Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy treatments, including relaxation and therapeutic massage techniques Conduct client consultations to understand individual wellness needs and tailor treatments accordingly Provide specialized services such as lymphatic drainage massage, sculpting massage, and body relaxation therapies Maintain accurate client treatment notes and wellness records Prepare treatment rooms to meet luxury spa standards for cleanliness, organization, and comfort Deliver a high-touch, professional client experience that encourages long-term client relationships Educate clients on wellness practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments Maintain professional knowledge of massage therapy techniques and wellness best practices Required Qualifications Active New York State Massage Therapy License (required) Previous professional massage therapy experience preferred but not required for the right candidate Strong knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques and bodywork principles Exceptional punctuality, reliability, and professionalism Polished and professional demeanor suitable for a luxury spa environment Strong interpersonal and client communication skills Ability to build long-term client relationships and maintain high retention Preferred Experience Experience working in a luxury spa, wellness center, or boutique massage practice Experience with lymphatic drainage massage or sculpting massage techniques Knowledge of holistic wellness practices and body recovery therapies Experience serving a high-end or repeat clientele Compensation & Benefits Based on Service Commission Additional compensation details to be discussed.
