Duties:
  • Perform massage therapy techniques to address various client needs and conditions
  • Assess clients' medical history, symptoms, and desired outcomes to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to inform treatment approach
  • Provide deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors or physical therapists, to support patients' overall wellness goals
  • Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance treatment outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
  • Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in all aspects of practice
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients
Requirements:
  • Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist
  • Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in acute pain management and occupational health is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
  • Ability to assess patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ethical guidelines
